HeCreature is an alter ego. A result of half a human life with an eating disorder, and the journey back to my own body.

 

The merpeople have fascinated me since early childhood. I don't have a good answer to why, but it's probably a mixture of the aesthetics, and the fact that I grew up by the sea. I feel at home in the sea. I feel complete. I get to breathe, I get space, and the concept of time ceases.

 

HeCreature, like most wild animals, thrives best without an audience, and rarely comes to the surface if there are too many humans around. A few humans have won his trust to get close. He thrives best in cooler climates, and often surfaces at night. He appears to the world through this website, on Instagram and on Tumblr. 

 

HeCreature frequently receives inquiries from individuals, companies, and others who wish to collaborate. HeCreature is not a product for sale or a service for rent. He does not join any events, commercial events or projects, or art projects. Thank you for your understanding.
